In both the public and private sectors our teams help identify, solve, mitigate, and manage critical environmental issues to help clients achieve a more sustainable is looking for an Estimator / Project Manager to lead commercial renovation, repair, or expansion projects.

This role involves collaborating with 1 to 2 major stakeholders, typically including the client (U.S. Postal Service and A&E firms), the Weston project team, and subcontractors.

The Estimator / Project Manager will assemble the project team, manage the project scope, schedule, risks, and budget to ensure Weston’s commitments and financial goals are met and communicated accurately and : Northeast region of The United States i.

  • Builds connections with major stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
  • Estimates proposals and provides technical responses.
  • Leads efforts to drive project underruns, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Creates a positive work environment with strong team connections and open communication.
  • Manages multiple moderate-scope projects with various subcontractors and internal team members.
  • Communicates changes or issues to management and clients in a timely manner.
  • Manages and communicates project changes with the client.
  • Consistently meets planned project profitability and metrics.
  • Assists with proposal efforts, including subcontractor identification, scoping, costing, estimating, and profitability planning.
  • Proactively identifies project issues and develops corrective action options.
  • Prepares and submits invoices accurately and on time, monitors accounts receivable, and recommends actions on overdue accounts.
  • Ensures compliance with Weston purchasing and subcontracting requirements.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :

  • 8+ years of experience in field construction and estimation, with 2+ years as a Project Manager.
  • Experience managing fixed price and cost-reimbursable projects.
  • Familiarity with RSMeans and / or eGordian.
  • Managed budgets of $50K-$1M+.
  • Proven ability to track costs, forecast expenses, and provide accurate estimates.
  • Strong communication skills for coordinating and negotiating with subcontractors, clients, and management.
  • Ability to delegate and engage support staff effectively.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead project teams of moderate size and complexity.
  • Promotes relationships between team members and client representatives.
  • Able to lead a geographically dispersed team.
  • Can adapt to changing conditions and collaborate as needed.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :

  • Experience with USPS construction / repair projects.
  • Estimating experience for building renovations, repairs, parking lot expansions, and security upgrades.
  • Familiarity with Job Order Contracts (JOC) or other fixed-price contracts is a plus.
  • PMP or CCM certification.
  • Proficient in Procore or similar construction management software, with the ability to adapt to new tools.
  • Field project management experience with daily client interaction.

Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors.

Salary Range : $96,500 - $128,900 - $161,000
