GeoLogics is seeking a talented Quality Control Technician to work with one of our aerospace and defense partners based in Chelmsford, MA .
Position : Quality Control Technician (12+ month contract)
Schedule : Tuesday - Friday, 6 : 00am - 4 : 30pm (1st shift, 4 / 10)
Location : Onsite in Chelmsford, MA
Pay : Up to $32.00 per hour
DoD Security Clearance : An active Secret Clearance is required for this position. Candidates with a previously held Secret Clearance will also be considered.
Due to the nature of work performed in the facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
Job Description :
- Performs all types of inspections to support all phases of assembly and manufacturing.
- Must have a thorough knowledge of blueprint readings / interpretation, math and instrument reading as well as a complete understanding of wiring diagrams.
- Must know how to use basic measuring equipment and instruments used to continuity check various assemblies / components including basic personal computing literacy.
- Is required to know and fully understand the workmanship acceptance criteria used on the production floor.
- Must have a thorough knowledge of all paperwork / documentation associated with the aforementioned inspection functions, also must be able to properly document in a neat and legible manner, all types of errors or discrepancies found.
- Must have a thorough knowledge of the correct procedures to follow and precautions to take when performing their work in order to prevent damage to equipment and / or material and injury to self and / or others.
- Must maintain a neat and orderly work / inspection area.
Required Skills / Qualifications :
- Active (or previously held) DoD issued Secret Clearance
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with Quality Control inspection
- Microscope visual inspection
- ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) Training / Awareness
- Experience with inspection hand tools
- Ability to follow work instructions
