QC Inspector

Job Title : QC Inspector (Manufacturing)

Location : Union City, CA

Duration : 6-Month Contract

Work Type : Onsite

Pay Range : $19 - $24 / hr

Job Description :

Are you a detail-oriented QC Inspector with experience in manufacturing? We're seeking a dedicated professional to join our team in Union City, CA.

Responsibilities :

• Perform inspections of purchased parts using standard sampling plans and measuring equipment.
• Conduct physical, mechanical, and electrical measurements in accordance with company quality standards.
• Accurately document inspection results and maintain controlled document files.
• Inspect cables per wiring configuration.
• Initiate non-conformance processes and assist in resolving quality issues.
• Monitor receiving inspection backlog and process ERP transactions.
• Collaborate with the Quality Department on various tasks as needed.

Qualifications :

• Familiarity with measuring equipment (micrometer, caliper, height gauges, plug gauges).
• Ability to lift at least 35 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex procedures.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Preferred experience in an FDA regulated environment or ISO 13485 standards in the medical device or in-vitro diagnostics industry.
