Job Title : IT Project Engineer

Major Goals and Responsibilities
As a Project Engineer, you will work in a fast-paced team environment that focuses on solution assessment and project implementation while creating and maintaining happy customers. The Project Engineer works directly with customers on technology projects. The Project Engineer is responsible for high customer satisfaction and project completion according to the defined statement of work.
Responsibilities and Duties
Project Delivery (80%)
- Technical Lead for assigned projects and project tasks on projects including :
- Microsoft Server Deployments and Migrations
- Active Directory implementation and Azure AD migrations
- Local Server and SaaS Backup Solutions
- Network switch and Firewall installation and configuration
- On premises to cloud server migrations
- Managed services implementations
- Maintained focus the project deliverables and the associated communication and documentation
- Manage tasks and sequence to deliver a high level of customer satisfaction
- Assist Solutions Architects and Engineers in solution and statement of work creation
- Maintain accurate and detailed activities records in the PSA (Autotask)
Administration and Documentation (10%)
Updating of Ticket and Task information including accurate tracking of timeDocumentation of project work to ensure support team has all relevant information for support and troubleshootingPersonal Skill Development (10%)
Maintain an ongoing plan for personal skill development in technical and leadership through a documented quarterly planUpdate and record learning monthlyPrerequisites : Minimum
4 years' professional work experience requiredUnderstanding of TCP / IP and Windows networksConfiguring and Administering of Windows & Azure Active DirectoryExperience with Microsoft Windows 7, 8, 10 and 11 operating systemsExperience with Microsoft Server 2012, 2016, 2019, and 2022Ability to work independently and within a team environmentExceptional customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills requiredAbility to work Monday - Friday 8 am to 5 pm with occasional night and weekend workCandidates must be authorized to work in the United StatesPreferred
Computer Science or technology related degree and / or equivalent experienceCompTIA Net+ or equivalent certificationsMicrosoft Certified ProfessionalUnderstanding and experience with Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Azure Files, and SharePoint migrationsExperience configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting firewalls, network switches and wirelessBehavioral Traits, Attitudes and Skills Required :
