What You'll Do :
- Perform visual inspection upon receipt.
- Document condition of incoming parts
- Create system documents following company procedures.
- Repackage equipment in a way to prevent damage in shipping.
- Create labels via FedEx / UPS systems for domestic and international shipments.
- Perform all shipping and receiving functions as required, including loading and unloading LTL shipments (company will provide training as necessary).
- Perform and Coordinate local Pick-ups and deliveries as needed
- Maintain customer shipping data.
- Maintain tracking information and pictures per job.
- Interface with customers and internal personnel.
- Manage processes to meet company metrics.
- All personnel may be required to perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time, as required.
What We Need from You :
- Basic computer skills
- Detail oriented
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Effective communication skills (oral / written)
- Ability to multitask
- No lifting restrictions
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time
- Previous experience related to shipping and receiving procedures preferred.
