Job Description :
Microchip Technology, Inc is looking for a current student enrolled in a degree program in Computer information Systems or equivalent and scheduled to graduate in 2025 to help sustain the equipment maintenance tracking application related activities within the equipment engineering group.
The position is in our Microchip Fab 2 Facility in Tempe, AZ near Broadway and 52nd street. The job would be in person on agreed upon flexible hours.
Local candidates may have the opportunity to work part time during school after the summer internship is completed.
Requirements / Qualifications :
- Perform Xsite data input, tracking, validation, database updates and modifications.
- Must be able to understand user requirements and complex manufacturing topics.
- Have strong analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Can work independently and in a team to develop innovative solutions.
- Communicate with both a technical and non-technical user community.
- Successfully interact with Vendors to resolve Application Issues.
- Create technical documentation related to projects and systems.
- Collaborate with others across multiple departments (management, analysts, engineers, programmers, end-users) in a team environment.
Candidate must be working towards a BS degree in Computer Information System or equivalent.
- A self-driven individual with exemplary administrative skills.
- Previous work experience a plus.
- Computer and data entry experience.
- Database management experience.
- Experience creating and maintaining Microsoft Excel and Access files.
- Proficiency in written and oral communication.
- Able to take direction, ask questions and stay on task to complete assignment according to due date.
Skills required :
Microsoft Office 2016 or greater Products, excellent organization, excellent attention to detail, strong independent and team worker
Other skills preferred :
SQL, Relational Database Structure, Oracle Server 19, SQL Server Reporting Services, Project Management, Xsite application knowledge
