JOB SUMMARY
The Security Officer l is an active member in the Security Team as well as the internal First Responder Team. This individual provides a wide variety of safety and security activities and services.
The Security Officer l maintains safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
Minimum Required : None
Preferred / Optional : Post high school education with emphasis on security or law enforcement.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum Required : None
Preferred / Optional : One year in protective services or safety related field or currently enrolled in a safety or security related coursework.
Experience with security functions in a healthcare setting.
CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES
Minimum Required : within 6 months’ of start date : State of Wisconsin valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid certification, awarded by the American Heart Association. Non-violent Crisis Intervention trained.
Wisconsin Concealed carry permit.
