OverviewKimley-Horn is looking for a Project Coordinator to join our Vero Beach, Florida (FL) office! This is not a remote position.
The candidate in this role will provide proactive, detail-oriented, project production and management and work directly with project managers, engineers, clients, and other staff.
ResponsibilitiesThis position has multiple responsibilities including project-based work and coordination duties including but not limited to : Managing full project site and building development cycle for national clientsInterfacing with clients regarding project expectations, schedule, permitting process, etc.
Coordinating with and providing technical support to staff, contractors, architects, and additional partners both locally and nationallySite plan, building, state / local, and federal application processing and expeditingCoordinating project submittals to various jurisdictional agencies, Cities, utilities, etc.
Researching agency requirements, building codes, zoning regulations, etc.Tracking of all tasks and client deliverable documentsFacilitating client communications (proposals, letters, contracts, transmittals, etc.
Compiling and assembling submittals; coordinating large production jobs, printing, and bindingPreparing contractsPreparing weekly trackers or job status communications for clientsCreating, proofreading, editing, formatting, and finalizing project-related documents and reportsQualifications3-5+ years of experience coordinating / expediting commercial development projectsInterpretation of civils / site and architectural plans preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsHighly proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Proficient in Adobe Professional and project tracking software (Smartsheets, Lucernex, etc.
Strong proofing, formatting, and editing skillsPositive, client-oriented, take-charge attitudeHighly organized and detail-orientedCapable of managing and balancing multiple tasks / priorities and performing well under deadline pressureAbility to work well with various types of people and in a team environmentAbility to travelWhy Kimley-Horn?
