JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an Interventional Recovery Room Nurse to provide nursing care for patients in the department, meeting basic ADL needs.
The role involves circulating in the department, recognizing physical and emotional changes in patients' condition, and assisting with biopsy, drainage procedures, and special procedures.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate thorough knowledge of nursing and departmental protocols, proper safety practices, and competency working with all age groups.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the State of Florida
- Minimum of 2 years recent acute care experience with at least one year in critical care, ER, or PACU experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification required from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- Intermediate computer knowledge : Uses Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows
