Position Overview : We are currently seeking an experienced Superintendent for a fast-paced commercial construction project in the multi-family sector.
The Superintendent will be responsible for monitoring the overall progress of construction and ensuring that deadlines are met.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee the daily progress of construction, ensuring that work is completed on time and within budget
- Monitor the safety of the construction site and ensure that all workers are following safety protocols
- Manage subcontractors and ensure that they are adhering to timeline and quality control standards
- Ensure that all work is completed according to the plans and specifications Generate and maintain relevant project documentation
- Oversee the installation of materials and equipment Remain up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques in the construction industry
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in a Superintendent role in the commercial construction and / or design-build environment
- Comprehensive understanding of the commercial construction sector or all similar sectors
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other construction documents Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
