Job Description :

As a Family Law Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in assisting attorneys in various legal matters, conducting research, and providing administrative support to ensure our clients receive the highest quality legal services.

Key Responsibilities of a Family Law Paralegal :

• Excellent customer service - as you will be dealing with families and difficult times for them.
• Conduct legal research to support case preparation.
• Assist attorneys in drafting legal documents, contracts, and pleadings.
• Organize and maintain legal files and documentation.
• Assist in case management and trial preparation.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel as needed.
• Prepare and file legal documents with courts and government agencies.
• Keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations relevant to our practice areas.
• Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, filing, and managing attorney calendars.

Qualifications :

• 3+ years of experience
• Family Law experience
• Proven experience as a Paralegal in a law firm or legal department.
• Strong research and writing skills.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations in the practice area(s) of the firm.
