Job Description : Breast Biopsy Imaging Technologist
We are currently hiring a talented Breast Biopsy Mammographer to join a dynamic outpatient imaging practice in the beautiful city of Denver, CO.
This is a full-time position with attractive benefits. We are offering a generous sign-on bonus of $15,000 for full-time employees and $7,500 for part-time employees.
Job Qualifications
- A valid ARRT Mammography certification with experience in performing biopsies is required.
- Obtaining a Breast Sonography Certification within one year of hire is mandatory. ARRT or ARDMS breast registry certifications are accepted.
Additional compensation will be granted upon completion of this certification.
Job Duties
- Responsible for conducting all pre-biopsy imaging tasks, equipment set-up, and post-biopsy patient care.
- Assisting the Radiologist in conducting stereotactic, tomosynthesis, ultrasound, and MRI-guided breast biopsies.
- Collaborating with the NP and circulating nurse to prepare and maintain accurate records pertaining to procedures.
- Maintaining strict infection control procedures and ensuring compliance with quality control standards.
- Performing post-biopsy mammograms (Mammography certification required) and any necessary pre-biopsy imaging procedures (mammography / ultrasound).
Compensation
- We offer a competitive salary range of $87,000 to $135,000, commensurate with experience.
- Sign-on bonus of $15,000 is provided upon joining the company.
