Actalent is currently seeking lab technicians to assist with quality seed testing on incoming raw materials and finished products for a leading crop science company in Lubbock, TX.
Job Summary :
- Perform visual quality inspection on seed samples
- Perform basic laboratory tests- pH, viscosity, protein count, moisture testing, and titrations
- Perform warm and cool germination testing
- Perform purity analysis of seeds
- Perform seed counts
- Weighing seeds and cotton fibers
Hours :
7am-5 : 30pm and 5pm-3 : 30am (Rotating Shifts)
- Must be open and able to work any day of the week (Sunday-Saturday) - Will only be scheduled 50 hours / week
- Candidate must be open to working both shift
