Environmental Manager
Location : remote in Florida or Georgia or Canada
Shift : Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Salary : $115,000-$125,000 / year
Full Relocation Package available
Flexible to travel onsite as needed
We are seeking talented professionals who are passionate about environmental management and regulatory compliance within the manufacturing sector.
Our company is dedicated to leading the industry in renewable products, including paper, packaging, and high purity cellulose.
Responsibilities :
- Monitor EU, federal, and provincial regulatory developments and provide technical and regulatory support to operations in Canada and France to ensure compliance with regulatory changes.
- Lead strategic environmental permitting projects for our company's operations.
- Participate in project teams to support environmental engineering and performance improvement initiatives.
- Utilize company memberships in industry associations and coalitions like NCASI to stay informed about technological advancements and emerging environmental and regulatory issues affecting our operations.
Qualifications :
- Degree in engineering (Chemical preferred) or environmental sciences.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in environmental management, with a strong preference for experience in the pulp and paper industry and working closely with regulators.
- Bilingual in French and English is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of federal and provincial (specifically Quebec) environmental regulations.
- Experience in managing biological wastewater treatment systems is highly desirable.
