  • National Asset Recovery Specialists, Inc., one of Ohio’s most respected repossession firms, is seeking a full-time Camera Car Driver & Field Investigator.

    Position Overview : As a Camera Car Driver & Field Investigator based in Columbus, Ohio, you will use advanced License Plate Recognition (LPR) technology, conduct surveillance, and perform field interviews to locate and secure collateral for our clients.

    This position is critical to supporting the economy by assisting clients in recovering assets. If you're self-motivated, enjoy working outdoors, and have a passion for investigation, this role is for you.

    Key Responsibilities :

    • Use LPR equipment to scan and identify vehicles.
    • Conduct field investigations and interviews to gather relevant information.
    • Perform heavy surveillance and fieldwork to locate client collateral.
    • Collaborate with the team to ensure accurate and timely recoveries.
    • Work outdoors independently, using strong problem-solving and investigative skills.
    • Maintain discretion and professionalism while in the field.
    • Operate within the Columbus and Southern Ohio area to assist in securing collateral.

    Qualifications :

    Education : High school diploma or GED with a commitment to continuous learning.

    Experience :

    • Experience working independently in an outdoor environment.
    • Preferred experience in skip tracing, field locating, private investigations, or auto repossessions.
    • Skills and Requirements :
    • Must have no more than two points on your driver's license.
    • Must be at least 23 years of age due to commercial insurance requirements.
    • Strong work ethic, high integrity, and a drug-free lifestyle.
    • Clean and professional appearance.
    • Proficient with smartphones and minor technology troubleshooting (connecting laptops to the internet).
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with customers, employees, and vendors.
    • Capable of reading, writing, and speaking English fluently.
    • Reliable attendance and punctuality as agreed with your supervisor.

    Compensation & Benefits :

    • Compensation : Base salary plus commission.
    • Commission opportunities for every successful recovery.
    • Monthly performance bonuses, with average total hourly earnings between $20-$27 per hour.
