Compensation Overview

The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country.

The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role;

the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

The Enterprise Talent Management (ETM) organization partners with business leaders and human resources business partners to execute talent management best practices to ensure a pipeline of top talent for succession to key roles.

As the Director, Operations for Enterprise Talent Management, you will drive the enablement and evolution of our enterprise talent practices through process consistency, technology, and a strong measurement strategy.

What Will You Do?

  • Support the development and lead the implementation of operational excellence across all ETM talent practice areas, including developing a measurement strategy and dashboard to track ETM’s impact.
  • Develop and maintain an Enterprise Talent Management measurement strategy, dashboard, and quarterly reporting cadence to key stakeholders.
  • Manage ETM’s relationship with People Analytics and HR Operations to maintain alignment with the overall HR measurement strategy.
  • Stay abreast of emerging talent management technologies and software.
  • Work with highly confidential human resources data in accordance with Travelers’ data policies and procedures.
  • Establish, share, and drive consistent project management methodologies.
  • Manage ETM’s relationship with our HR Operations team in identifying repeatable and scalable aspects of ETM’s work.
  • Manage ETM’s relationships with the HR Technology and Enterprise Learning Enablement teams.
  • Utilize external market insights to identify trends and best practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or related field.
  • Technological mindset with the ability to assess and use state-of-the-art technologies.
  • Experience leveraging Workday, Degreed, Novo Ed, Perceptyx and / or other tools.
  • Experience capturing metrics and creating reports.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional skills with project management, program design / management, and change management.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Office, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Experience working in a highly matrixed environment.

What is a Must Have?

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Seven years of Human Resource, Operations and / or Analytics or related experience
