Position Summary : We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Estimator Electronic Security to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for estimating the costs and requirements for Security Projects, from initial proposal through to project completion.

The Electrical Estimator Electronic Security will work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure accurate and competitive bids while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.

Responsibilities :

  • Analyze blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical systems and components.
  • Develop and submit comprehensive bid proposals, including labor, materials, and overhead costs.
  • Solicit and review quotes from vendors and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and compliance with project requirements.
  • Identify potential risks and issues related to cost and provide strategies to mitigate them.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of estimates, proposals, and change orders.
  • Communicate with clients to clarify project requirements, provide cost estimates, and address any concerns or changes.
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure accurate and efficient project execution.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, pricing, and technologies to ensure competitive and accurate estimates.

Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience will also be considered.

Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Professional Estimator) are a plus.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical estimating or a related role. Experience with electronic security is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and codes.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills with the ability to interpret technical documents and perform accurate cost calculations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients, vendors, and team members.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in preparing estimates and reports.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Location : Jacksonville, Orlando or Tampa

Job Type : Full-Time
