As they continue to grow, we are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Inspector to join their team.
As a Quality Control Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, quality, and integrity of food products.
Your responsibilities will include inspecting equipment, monitoring sanitation standards, and conducting quality checks throughout the production process.

What you get to do :
- Inspect equipment, utensils, and peripheral areas to verify production area meets safety, sanitation and production standards
- Maintain inventory of solutions and chemicals and requisition as needed.
- Visually inspect integrity of raw product containers received.
- Check and record internal temperature of frozen products.
- Calibrate accuracy of all floor and tabletop scales.
- Test products during the production process to ensure quality and food safety.
- Regularly sample packaged products to ensure quality and food safety.
- Using test equipment, check accuracy of safety sensors.
- Keep accurate and orderly records of inspections and findings.
- Notify management of findings not consistent with food safety standards.
- Develop systems and procedures for an effective sanitation program.
- Educate plant personnel in basic sanitation and proper hygienic habits.
What you need to be successful :
- Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices; Company standards and laws governing sanitation standards in food manufacturing.
- Able to work independently and set priorities.
- Able to recognize potential food safety issues and advise supervision and management.
- Able to communicate with management and staff.
