A leading Automation Manufacturer based in IN are expanding their DeltaV Controls Engineering team to support huge investments made in projects across Life Science, Chemical & other major manufacturing projects.
The Senior Controls Automation Engineer will be involved in leading the design & implementation of major DeltaV projects across Indiana, a large focus will be within the Life Sciences industry.
The ideal Senior Automation Engineer will have prior experience leading automation projects including designing, configuring, implementing, maintaining and upgrading DeltaV systems in a Life Science environment.
Prior experience leading, mentoring and delegating across key automation projects would also be great experience to have.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Your duties as the Senior DeltaV Controls Automation Engineer will be varied however the key duties & responsibilities are as follows :
- Leading projects for customers & implementing automation systems within the plants & facilities - DeltaV
- Working as the on-site SME for DeltaV support
- Working on project delivery across Controls Systems
- Knowledge of P&ID drawings
- You'll be delivering multiple large scale Life Science projects
- Maintaining and building key relationships with vendors & customers.
- A solid working knowledge of automation hardware components is essential. Experience with DeltaV integration with MES is a big plus.
- Leading, mentoring and delegating resources on key automation projects
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Senior DeltaV Controls Automation Engineer we are looking to identify the following on your profile & past history :
- Degree - Relevant Engineering field
- Minimum 8 years working with Emerson / DeltaV / DCS
- MES Syncade is a plus
- Strong knowledge of DeltaV Batch Systems
