Working from our headquarters in West Berkeley, you’ll engage with customers to determine if the services we offer are a good fit for each callers' needs.

Reporting to the Strategic Assistant to the CEO (S.A.), and working alongside our marketing team, project scheduler, and billing department, the focus of your work will be to ensure our clients have a great experience throughout the sales and service process.

As the first-ever person in this role, you’ll be tasked with learning our new CRM (see link : Arbor Gold / ArborGold dot com) and then training the balance of the sales staff.

You’ll set up a new front end with help from Arbor Gold representative, our S.A., and Scheduler / former Office Manager.

Based in West Berkeley, we service commercial, residential, and public works projects from Mendocino to Monterey, and from San Francisco to Sacramento.

We are known for excellent customer service, and the ability to remove enormous trees using large cranes and heavy equipment.

What makes us unique? We recycle material removed from job sites at our own Green Waste Recycle Yard, mill logs into boards and create organic mulch from the wood chips.

We also have the staff, equipment, resources, and experience to perform tree services at any scale. Your Responsibilities Include : Incoming sales calls.

You’ll use your natural talents to build rapport and trust with potential customers while confirming they are seeking the type of services we offer Scheduling site visits for our team of Certified Arborists / Estimators Learning, setting up, and then training colleagues on our new CRM, Arbor Gold Creating reports inside ArborGold to track incoming sales calls, plus weekly, monthly, seasonal fluctuations, sales conversion rates, etc.

F ollowing up with customers who have received estimates from us; emailing and calling to learn when we’ll be moving forward with the job or, if not, why not Following up with customers at the end of every project to learn how it went and to request social media reviews, if applicable Working with our marketing team to review our marketing efforts and make recommendations Other sales related projects as your schedule allows You’re able to collaborate with an outside sales team to ensure sales processes are being followed Requirements, Experience, Skills, and Abilities You like people.

This role is best for someone who is comfortable making all manner of phone calls including in-bound and outbound calls to our clients, vendors, colleagues, and other folks related to our industry.

You’re great at CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software; have used several types and are willing / able to set up the front end of our new system You’re an eloquent and efficient communicator You’re highly organized, and can provide examples You work at a fast pace, have high attention to detail, and can manage a wide variety of tasks efficiently.

Note : this role is best for someone with a great memory! And, yes, there will be a test. : ) You live within an easy commute of West Berkeley.
