Director of Housekeeping Responsibilities :
- Lead the employees and managers on the entire housekeeping team
- Ensure established cultural and core standards are met
- Department strategic planning for short & long-term growth
- Ability to be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good employee and guests relations
- Handle complaints, concerns, or special requests for guests, clients, and employees
- Ensure excellent levels of cleanliness consistently
- Effectively utilize systems and platforms to create efficiencies
- Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, and inventory control while ensuring standards are not compromised
Director of Housekeeping Qualifications :
- 3+ years in a housekeeping leadership role in hotels or similar industries
- Service passion for hospitality
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written
- Knowledge and ability to operate various electronic systems
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Self-starter with a passion to succeed
- Enthusiastic attitude and positive work ethic
