Job Summary :
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assisting physicians and assuring the efficient day-to-day clinical operations of the outpatient physician practice.
Job Responsibilities :
- Oversee the daily operations of the outpatient physician practice.
- Maintenance and preparation of treatment areas, medical equipment and supplies.
- Examine and triage patients.
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures such as fluoroscopically-guided epidural spine injections, botulinum toxin injections and joint injections, including prioritizing and facilitating scheduling, instruction of patients and families in pre-op preparations, and providing hand-on assistance during procedures such as positioning patients or managing physician equipment needs.
- Participate in the rehabilitative care of patients throughout the lifespan.
- Obtaining and informing physicians and patients of laboratory, radiologic, or other diagnostic testing.
- Review laboratory results and other clinical information pertinent to patient health, order appropriate tests and other ancillary services as needed, and develop care plans for patients.
- Participate in the recruitment, training, supervision, and evaluation of department Medical and Practice Associates.
- Assisting patients with coordination of services.
- Complete patient history and disability forms and submit prescriptions as needed.
- Work on special projects and perform other related duties assigned or requested.
Job Requirements :
- Associate's degree in Nursing required.
- Licensed in the State of New York.
- Physician practice experience preferred.
- Must have excellent clinical skills in a high-volume, high-pressure environment.
- Must be able to work independently and efficiently.
- Must be able to interact with all levels of staff and must have an understanding of patient confidentiality.
- Must be highly motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented individual who can be creative and take initiative as needed.
- Bilingual with Spanish is preferred.
Annual Salary Ranges : $75,000.00 - $108,000.00
Note : Our salary offers will fall within these ranges based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to experience, skill set, training and education.
