Title : Pre-construction Coordinator

Location : Las Vegas NV

Compensation : Base salary of $100k

Benefits : Comprehensive benefits to include 100% of health care expenses for employee .

Travel : up to 15%

Position Description :

The Pre-construction Coordinator supports the business unit by processing engineering and construction documents to ensure accuracy and timeliness of reproduction and release as assigned by project requirements.

This includes identifying and resolving production-related errors and maintaining and revising procedural lists, owner provided equipment release schedule as well as coordination, control records and coding schemes to process source data.

Other responsibilities :

  • Prepare and maintain up-to-date control records documenting receipt of service requests, document and revision numbers, original distribution, revised distributions and transmittal dates
  • Manage and track owner-provided equipment
  • Coordinate deliveries based on construction needs and timing
  • Assist in conducting internal audits and inspections to ensure department work is performed correctly, efficiently, and cost consciously
  • Maintain and file reproduced document originals and revision
  • Assist in preparing monthly department reports and document transmittal forms for distribution
  • Code and input data for computer processing
  • Coordinate the overall Document Control for the entire project
  • Coordinate with reprographic vendors and consultants
  • Set up and maintain Master Drawing Log and Drawing Packages
  • Coordinate with Engineers on distribution of documentation to project staff, subcontractors, and other parties
  • Maintain Permit, Record Set, and City / County approved drawings
  • Maintain current set of Drawings and Specifications and Slip Sheet updates
  • Maintain Prolog reports for Drawings and Specifications
  • Establish control for Drawings and Specifications utilizing Procore, PlanGrid, and Box
  • Assist the VP and Field Superintendent in processing all Work Order requests from project staff
  • Distribute and file all incoming correspondence
  • Control documentation related to item transmittals and meeting minutes
  • Maintain archive in accordance with Records Management Department guidelines
  • Provide support and training to support staff

Requirements :

  • Knowledge of filing in both Alpha and numeric systems, business machines, office procedures and document control systems is required
  • Knowledge of construction documents required
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint, and basic knowledge of Procore software preferred
  • Ability to occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds
  • Education : High School Diploma or equivalent required, with some college coursework or Associates Degree preferred
  • Experience : 1-4 years of experience in a similar or related position
