This individual will be interacting and leading 125+ team members at the restaurant, therefore, having the opportunity to impact the lives of each team member.
Responsibilities
This position is hands-on day-to-day operations inside the restaurant. 85% of time is spent working in the restaurant in either Front of House or Back of House and only 15% is administrative work.
Position starts at $20 per hour.
- Develop a culture of CARE that promotes accountability, effective communications, excellence customer service, teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, and mutual respect.
- The Training Director will need to know and understand all aspects of the restaurant.
- The Training Director is responsible to train all newly hired team members.
- Maintain the continued training of all current team members; oversee and lead a group of Trainers.
- Complete all required administrative paperwork such as creating training plans for in restaurant training.
- Track each team member’s training, meet and check-in with the trainers and evaluate team members performance of positions alongside the leadership team.
- Work directly with Operating Partner and the Executive Leadership team to ensure the guest experience meeting up to standards.
- Have an understanding in financial management of the restaurant at all times including cash controls, timely deposits, order change fund, labor cost and food cost.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in training and developing a team (restaurant setting preferred).
- Must be able to handle fast-paced environment.
