RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITY
Primary Role Trade Show Promotion :
- Manage design and production of PRI Trade Show materials.
- Brochures and show related printed projects.
- PRI Trade Show advertising.
- Exhibitor Service Manual.
- Show signage.
- Magazine Production :
- Assist with editorial layout and design of monthly PRI magazine.
- Special Projects :
- Assist with other PRI promotion and marketing materials as needed.
- When directed by management, perform other assignments and duties as required.
RELATIONSHIPS
- Report to Creative Director.
- Report to Senior Art Director when Creative Director is unavailable.
- Interface with Project Coordinator / Job Initiator, Editor, other Art Directors and PRI vendors.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
- Action Sports oriented design style with minimum of 2 - 3 years on-the-job experience.
- Solid working knowledge of the Macintosh OS and Adobe Creative Suite. Specifically Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Incopy.
- Strong layout-design, typography, photo-composition, color-correcting and retouching skills.
- Comprehension of marketing principles and their application to layout and design.
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment as well as work independently.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Must be detail oriented with excellent verbal and written skills.
