Assistant Service Manager Night Shift 3-11 PM

Sapp Bros., Inc., a dynamic chain of travel centers, is seeking an experienced Assistant Shop Manager to join our diesel truck management team.

As an Assistant Shop Manager, you will leverage your leadership in overseeing a team of diesel truck technicians to consistently surpass customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities :

Joining our Diesel Truck Maintenance Management team to uphold and supervise our company's integrity, quality, and customer service standards.

Overseeing a team of diesel truck technicians and maintaining a safe work environment for both customers and employees. This position is compensated with hourly pay plus commission.

Additional Responsibilities :

Operating daily functions to ensure timely and efficient customer service. Assigning jobs to technicians based on their capabilities and training to ensure the highest quality of work.

Maintaining and striving to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets. Managing inventory to ensure optimal stock levels.

Ensuring a consistently clean and professional environment. Performing technician duties and operating service trucks as needed.

Adhering strictly to established safety protocols, including full compliance with Lock Out Tag Out procedures. Our Safety Mission Statement aims for zero accidents through a secure environment fostered by safety-conscious employees.

Requirements

Successful candidates for the Assistant Shop Manager role must embody a role model persona for their direct reports, adhering to expected guidelines.

We seek individuals proficient in basic math and computer applications.

Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year of prior experience in a supervisory or management role within diesel truck maintenance.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
• Physical presence at assigned work site required.
