About The Position

A bread-and-butter gastroenterology position is available in Mount Airy, NC. You will join one other gastroenterologist in a collegial multispecialty group with the full financial support of a national health system.

You will enjoy a wonderful work-life balance in an idyllic, small southern town in North Carolina.

Candidates will need to be board-certified or board eligible in GI. You should currently have or be in the process of securing an NC medical license.

• You will see an average of 16 patients per day in the office and 4 per month in the hospital
• Office hours are 8 am - 5 pm, Monday through Friday with light call
• Procedures performed include diagnosis and treatment of ulcers and esophageal reflux treatment
• Upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, capsule endoscopy, esophageal dilation, and liver biopsy
• Work in a brand new GI clinic being built this summer
