Job Title : Quality Assurance Technician
Job Description
As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will perform tests on incoming raw materials and conduct in-process testing to ensure that the manufacturing operations meet quality standards.
You will work under supervision to perform various chemical and physical property tests and inspect finished products to ensure consistent adherence to quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform chemical and physical property tests on materials including asphalt, products, granules / sand, and fiberglass.
- Inspect finished products and collaborate with manufacturing to maintain quality standards.
- Conduct data entry on multiple platforms such as SQC, Access, and Excel.
- Communicate effectively with production operators and leaders.
- Follow all documented procedures and standards in the department.
Essential Skills
- Quality control (QC) or quality assurance (QA) experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Experience in lab testing and inspection.
- Ability to perform data entry using SQC, Access, and Excel.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in a food manufacturing is beneficial.
- Must possess QA or QC experience in a manufacturing environment.

Work Environment
The work environment is industrial manufacturing, which can be dirty and dusty due to the nature of the product (shingles).
The setting involves heavy industrial machinery and can be loud in certain areas. Safety gear such as steel-toed boots, hard hats, safety glasses, and earplugs are required.
