- Measuringand cutting materials tospecifications
- Weldingmaterials using the correct materials to join the metalstogether
- Checkingfinished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerancesmarked on theblueprints
Requirements
Mustbe able to complete and pass carbon and stainless welding tests dayof interview with company.
Mustbe reliable and have reliable transportation.
- Excellentcommunication skills both verbal andwritten
- Abilityto readblueprints
- Knowledgeofmetallurgy
- Knowledgeof various welding techniques including TIG MIG arc and oxyfuelwelding
- Knowledgeof manual and mechanical weldingtechniques
Must be able to pass a welding test on day of interview withcompany
