We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a SAAS Business Analyst in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. Working in the IT industry, the role will primarily focus on enhancing the identification and management of SaaS apps and ensuring their sanctioned use across the enterprise.
This role will involve cross-functional collaboration with teams such as Architecture, Cyber Security, Procurement, and Service Management.
Responsibilities :
- Lead the delivery of change to the business by assessing business needs, capturing requirements, designing solutions, and implementing them
- Serve as a point of liaison between the business and the IT team, identifying problems, challenges, or opportunities from a business solution, IT system, or process perspective
- Implement new ideas and inspire creativity within the teams you work with, while also problem-solving
- Analyze business problems and / or opportunities to assess business need and deliver high-level requirements
- Plan analysis activities, develop work breakdown plans, and gain agreement to ensure delivery against agreed timescales
- Assist in the development of project plans and manage, plan, and execute analysis activities to ensure project objectives and timescale completion
- Collaborate with Stakeholders, Project Managers, Developers, and Solution Architects to assist in the implementation of business-led change
- Conduct workshops with business stakeholders and other project participants to gather requirements or conduct impact analysis
- Define and document business and functional and non-functional requirements
- Participate in defect triage and prioritization, addressing any requirements defects as necessary.
- Must possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven experience in creating detailed documentation
- Proficiency in reporting and data analysis
- Possess the ability to train team members and stakeholders effectively
- Strong planning and organization skills
- Familiar with developing and implementing procedures
- Proficient in planning and managing various processes
- Experience in budget processes and financial forecasting
- Proven ability to review and improve existing systems and models
- Experience in design and implementation of business strategies
- Knowledge of insurance industry is preferred
- Proven track record of successful project implementation
- Ability to act as a liaison between different business units
- Experience in procurement and negotiation
- Knowledge of best practices in business analysis
- Experience in working with stakeholders at all levels
- Familiar with different business methods and strategies
- Experience in system integration projects
- Ability to execute plans effectively and within deadline
