JobResponsibilities :

• Work closely with clients architects and otherEngineers and / or design team members as part of a dedicated andskilled team
• Produce coordinated detailed design drawings electronicmodels specifications written reports site observation reportsschedules etc.

on a variety of projects within the electricaldiscipline as well as the coordination with utility companies andobtaining the necessary electrical permit approvals

• Organize technicaland financial proposals for new work
• Manage workload ofProject Discipline Engineers and Technicians (includingverification of quality).
• Take responsibility for concept andpreliminary engineering solutions for detail design
• Prepare TechnicalSpecifications
• Monitor financial performance of jobs
• Keep senior staffinformed of important and relevant service / design decisions and theobjectives of the client are achieved
• Mentor juniorElectrical Engineers
• Continually ensure practices policies strategy andservices represent the client s best interests and that policy isin keeping with current legislation and the relevant buildingcodes
• Plan organize and manage personal workload in order tomeet deadlines in line with client commitments
• Proactively raiseconcerns regarding workload and ability to meetdeadlines
• Maintain an overview of the project team s workload andcommitments in order to successfully meet deadlines and balanceresource utilization
• Actively contribute towards delivering profitableprojects in the context of project finances
• Monitor financialperformance of jobs with the setting up and managing of job / projectadministrative systems including planning and monitoring jobresourcing / expenditure (adjusting these as necessary).

Job Qualifications :

• Bachelor of Science degree in ElectricalEngineering or related
• Active PE state license (CA state)preferred
• 8 years experience of electrical engineering design inthe building services and construction industry
• Experience working onprojects in the following sectors is preferred : Higher EducationMuseums Commercial Transportation Hubs and / or Stadiums
• 3yrs experience withRevit software
• LEED AP accredited preferred
• Familiarity usingcomputational analysis tools such as electrical fault analysis andlighting design software
• Ability to accept a high degree ofresponsibility in a teambased organization combined with ability towork independently
• Excellent technical knowledge of electrical systems;ability to investigate identify and provide solutions to technicalproblems
• Excellent clientfacing and communication skills (verbaland written) with experience presenting (you will often be requiredto present solutions directly to csuite levelstakeholders)
• Experience in the preparation of technical reports fordelivery direct to a client audience
• Ability to problemsolve and propose multiple solutions to Clients and objectivelysummarize the benefits and shortfalls of each
