Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Director of Accounting, a leader with extensive experience in corporate accounting, consolidations, and audits.

The successful candidate will have a wealth of experience using Workday and will be responsible for overseeing our corporate accounting department.

Responsibilities :

  • Oversee daily operations of the corporate accounting department
  • Use Workday software to manage financial processes, produce financial reports, and ensure data integrity
  • Support month-end and year-end close process, including corporate consolidation and inter-company transactions
  • Coordinate or support the coordination of internal and external audits
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures in response to business needs and to comply with applicable regulations
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders on financial strategic planning and decision-making
  • Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported
  • Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results, initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact of variances

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
  • CPA or CMA certification is highly desired.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven expertise with Workday Financials.
  • Experience in managing consolidation processes and audits.
  • Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent leadership, management, and communication skills.
