Shift : Tues, Thurs, Fri, Sat - 10 : 00 am - 8 : 30 pm
Our client is a technology startup, focused on bioinformatics with patient care (genetic sequencing) and cancer research.
They are currently looking to add to their lab team! Additionally, they are leveraging technology and data to fight against COVID-19 and to build a system to ensure that future pandemics can be detected and treated faster, more effectively, and with better use of data.
We are seeking a well-rounded associate who will be responsible for the coordination between our lab, clients, and patients.
Responsibilities :
- Aid tracking and filing of competency and documentation.
- Coordinate communication of the status of laboratory reports between teams.
- Files laboratory quality control documentation in a systematic organized manner.
- Collect CoAs from vendors.
- Maintain documentation in order to satisfy requirements.
- Report significant deviations and system deficiencies to lab management, as appropriate.
- Update SOPs within the document control system, including creation / revision / review of internal SOPs and other quality documentation.
- Interact with lab management and testing personnel to prioritize tasks.
- Help facilitate and implement corrective and preventative actions.
- Ensure equipment and quality binders are kept up to date.

- Highly organized and systematic, superb attention to detail and ability to complete tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
- Proven ability to learn new skills quickly and adapt to new processes smoothly.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and / or Google Sheets.
- Good time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-driven and works well in an interdisciplinary team with minimal direction
Highly Desirable :
- An associate's or Bachelor's degree in the sciences is strongly preferred; Alternatively, experience in and exposure to the sciences or laboratory-related roles preferred
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency and problem-solving ability
- Ability to handle time-sensitive and critical materials
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexibility to perform other supply chain-related functions as necessary
