Job Overview :
The Slot Technology Administrator is responsible with ensuring all game technology is maintained accurately and timely and to support any game implementation projects requiring changes to the casino floor or changes to systems that monitor and control our gaming devices and related gaming equipment.
The Slot Technology Administrator will also assist and interact with other external departments that are directly / indirectly involved with the daily operation of slot technology as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities :
- Administers and maintains all gaming device master file information in WCH's game related system including but not limited to Bally SDS, and other related systems such as : Casino Data Imaging Global Suite, and EpiCentral
- Coordinates all slot floor related projects with Slot Techs / Slot Performance, Slot Operations, Information Technology to ensure the integrity and accuracy of system information is maintained and changed (as required) on a timely basis;
These projects include but are not limited to game moves, installs, conversions, removals and swaps to increase gaming revenue for the property
- Administers, assists and supports technology specific projects and tasks such as slot machine software upgrades, server upgrades (IT included) and hardware upgrades etc.
- Develops and analyzes reports related to slot performance based on criteria set by the WCH management
- Perform analyses and investigations with Revenue Audit and Slot Performance concerning daily variances, discrepancies between source and end user systems and interfaces and other machine reporting discrepancies
- Responsible for improving and maintaining all Gaming Master File information to gaming devices and related technology including data consistency across properties, data completeness and accuracy within the "home" property, timeliness of updates to changed data
- Actively communicates slot technology issues, status and projects to all affected Slots personnel and other departments including Slot Technicians, Lead Slot Technicians, Shift Managers, Floor Supervisors and upper Management
- Maintains professional communication and positive working relationships with all gaming vendor personnel and regulatory personnel
- Adheres to Illinois Gaming Board (IGB) Controls Standards (IGB), Company and Departmental Expectations
- Works effectively with all other casino personnel to ensure guest satisfaction and service quality
- Keeps abreast of new and or improved gaming devices, software, hardware, parts etc.
- Protects all system related assets and other physical assets, as appropriate within the Games Department
- Perform the duties and responsibilities associated with the Illinois Gaming Board Statewide Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Job Requirements : (please ensure you meet the listed requirements prior to applying)
- High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within 6 months from start date as a condition of continued employment- required
- Must be 21 years old- required
- Bachelor's Degree required in Technology, Science, Math or Business- required
- OR Five (5) years of electronic gaming device technical experience AND two (2) years of gaming systems administration and system support experience- required
- Must have working knowledge of casino gaming systems environments
- Highly proficient in using Excel programs (data import, data export, pivot tables, data filtering, and data sorting) and working knowledge of other Microsoft Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook)
- Must have ability to work in fast-paced environment while coordinating multiple tasks at one time along with working independently
- Must successfully pass job interview, including a guest service audition
- Must be able to lift and maneuver up to 100 lbs with support
- Must possess a valid state-issued driver's license
- Willing and able to work odd and irregular hours including holidays, promotions, nights and weekends
- Willing and able to travel and participate in training as recommended or required
- Must have willingness and ability to work in a smoke / secondary smoke environment
- Must have an Occupational License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) pursuant to the Illinois Gaming Act and remain in good standing with the Illinois Gaming Board as a requirement for this position.
