Facilities Maintenance Technician

Job Description :

Repair and maintenance : Carry out necessary repairs and maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work.

• Safety compliance : Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety regulations and standards to maintain a safe environment for all occupants.
• Equipment management : Maintain and repair building equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Emergency response : Be available for emergency repairs or issues that may arise outside of normal working hours.
• Vendor coordination : Coordinate with external vendors for specialized maintenance tasks and ensure their work meets the building’s standards.
• Record keeping : Keep detailed logs of all maintenance and repair work for future reference and budgeting purposes.
• Preventive measures : Implement preventive maintenance measures to avoid potential issues and ensure the longevity of the building’s systems and structures.
• Team collaboration : Work closely with the building management team to prioritize maintenance tasks and projects.
• Continual learning : Willing to train. Stay updated with the latest best practices in building maintenance and apply them as necessary.

Qualifications :

• Residential and / or commercial facilities maintenance experience
• General handyman skills, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work
• Ability to use various hand and power tools
• Must have a valid Driver License and clean driving record and a reliable vehicle

Schedule :

Monday-Friday; day shift with flexible hours. Must be available for on-call work afterhours, and occasional overtime.
