This is an excellent opportunity for an Internal Medicine with pediatrics to join a rapidly growing physician group with an expanding specialty clinic with surgicenter operated by the Hospital Medical Services, a regional health care leader.
The physician taking this position will practice at a Hospital that is Top 100 ranked for the last three years by Solucient, an industry leader in hospital quality improvement.
It is a not-for-profit, patient focused hospital with a strategic plan designed specifically to create an efficient, safe, hassle-free environment for specialty physicians.
The hospital features the only pediatric unit in southern Illinois. Hospital welcomes 2000 new births annually. There is a recently built surgical wing with seven modern surgical suites, one dedicated to open heart procedures.
The hospital currently added a two-floor addition to increase capacity and provide nearly all private rooms and a third cardiac catheterization lab.
Internists here are well supported by experienced staff with advanced-training, 24 / 7 coverage by anesthesiologists, a new hospitalist program and the latest in technology including all-digital imaging and archiving with 64-slice CT scanning, MRI and PET.
The hospital also has accredited cancer services and Hospital is currently building a comprehensive cancer services program.
