Work you'll do / Responsibilities

  • Manage Host Storage / VMs / Clusters / Upgrade Virtual Center
  • Build and install computer infrastructure, which encompasses hardware, servers, and virtual machines, using a VMware environment such as vSphere.
  • Monitor all system alerts and assist to resolve complex issues in system hardware and software.
  • VMware Administrators must create and maintain documentation for all system-related processes and procedures they are responsible for, including project requirements, changes and upgrades, implementation plans, and support tickets.
  • Administer efficient work of VM's and provide support to everyday operations.
  • VMware administrators to monitor client systems daily and pinpoint problem areas.
  • Proactively install upgrades, releases, and application patches
  • VM Troubleshooting and Support for VDIs as view Administrators.
  • User Support for VDI Issues
  • Identify, Analyze, and automate routine tasks.
  • Achieve the SLA, KPI as per SOW
  • Coordinate with multiple teams to serve the request or resolve the incidents.
  • Implementation of High Availability, update management, Disaster recovery, Backup and Restore
  • Documentation, Weekly / Bi-Weekly Deck preparation, KB article update
  • Train and Knowledge transfer to junior resources
  • Handover and On call support during weekends on rotational basis
  • Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management.

Our operate services within CTO include :

  • Foundry Services : Operate services providing flexible, recurring resource capacity for client initiatives, projects, tasks, and enhancement.
  • Managed Services : Operate services that provide ongoing maintenance, monitoring, and optimization for IT / Engineering applications & products.

Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in System administration support experience in WINDOWS production environments with strong hands-on experience in Troubleshooting, Patching, and general tasks
  • Experience in building and installing computer infrastructure, which encompasses hardware, servers, and virtual machines, using a VMware environment such as vSphere.
  • Network storage configuration
  • Experience on all monitoring tools install and configuring.
  • Experience with other Nutanix products such as ERA, LCM, Objects, Files, Volumes, Calm, Flow, Cloud, Karbon
  • Develop the Global Hosting Platform hosted on Nutanix software to support other core enterprise environments / domains to enhance hosting services and migration in the other domains.
  • Ability to collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into Nutanix-based solutions for AHV, ESXi, Flow, Files, Objects, and VDI.
  • Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office tools
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline;

or equivalent experience

  • Live near or willing to relocate to Springdale, AR . Relocation assistance is available.
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries / sectors you serve
