Special Education Teachers Needed In Monticello, IL
ProCare Therapy is seeking dedicated and passionate Special Education Teachers to join our team for the 2024-25 school year in Monticello, IL.
As a contracted Special Education Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of students with diverse learning needs.
This role requires a commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive educational environment that fosters the growth and development of every student.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Adapt and modify curriculum materials and teaching methods to meet the needs of students.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and support staff to ensure effective integration of students into the classroom.
- Assess students' abilities and progress through formal and informal assessments.
- Provide a safe and positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and success.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in special education.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Validstate teaching certification in Special Education.
- Proven experience working with students with special needs.
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with children with diverse learning needs.
