In the Senior Project Manager - Construction position, you’ll will lead the successful completion of construction projects, collaborating closely with clients, sales teams, architects, interior designers, and procurement specialists.

You will cultivate strong internal and external relationships, provide leadership, and mentor junior staff. This fully remote position entails frequent travel to regional job sites and periodic visits to our Milwaukee, WI main campus (typically twice per year).

What You’ll Do and Impact :

Manage all aspects of the construction project lifecycle from initiation to completion.

Coordinate with design teams internally and externally to optimize construction delivery.

Interpret architectural plans and construction documents, ensuring quality control.

Foster relationships with client organizations at corporate and project levels.

Partner with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) to expedite project approvals and permits.

Develop project estimates, schedules, and reports, maintaining clear communication.

Create and review contract documents, ensuring compliance with obligations.

Prepare and evaluate bid documents, negotiating construction contracts.

Monitor and communicate construction project schedules internally and with clients.

Provide regular progress updates to clients and stakeholders via meetings and communications.

Conduct jobsite visits to oversee construction progress and compliance with codes.

Ensure client satisfaction by delivering projects on time and within budget.

Provide feedback to improve construction project management processes.

Mentor and develop team members to enhance capabilities and conduct.

Foster a culture of best practices, client satisfaction, and cross-functional collaboration.

Represent business interests and resolve issues promptly.

Support business initiatives and operational processes as assigned.

Experience :

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field;
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial construction project management;
  • Experience leading and managing the work of others;
  • Working familiarity of commercial building codes and health care codes;

Valid, unexpired driver's license with satisfactory driving record; and,

Ability to travel up to 50%

Additional Items of Interest :

  • Experience with renovation and new construction projects within the healthcare or senior living sectors;
  • Understanding of the operations of Long Term Care communities, including all logistics, phasing & scheduling relating to the construction / renovation process;

Experience working with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ), i.e. local, county & state agencies for approvals, permitting and inspections; and,

Construction estimating.
