Join our team and make a difference in students' lives! We're seeking an experienced Director of Financial Aid to lead our financial aid operations.

Requirements :

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Federal Financial Aid (FFA)
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • In-depth knowledge of federal and state financial aid regulations

Key Responsibilities :

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the financial aid office
  • Develop and implement financial aid policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations
  • Manage the awarding and disbursement of all financial aid funds
  • Supervise and train financial aid staff
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial aid processes
  • Conduct financial aid information sessions for students and families
  • Prepare and manage the financial aid office budget
  • Analyze financial aid data and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Stay current with changes in financial aid regulations and best practices
  • Represent the institution at financial aid conferences and workshops
  • Manage the financial aid management system
  • Develop strategies to improve student retention through financial aid programs
  • Coordinate with the admissions office to create financial aid packages for prospective students
  • Oversee the verification process for financial aid applications
