Requirements :
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Federal Financial Aid (FFA)
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- In-depth knowledge of federal and state financial aid regulations
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the financial aid office
- Develop and implement financial aid policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations
- Manage the awarding and disbursement of all financial aid funds
- Supervise and train financial aid staff
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial aid processes
- Conduct financial aid information sessions for students and families
- Prepare and manage the financial aid office budget
- Analyze financial aid data and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Stay current with changes in financial aid regulations and best practices
- Represent the institution at financial aid conferences and workshops
- Manage the financial aid management system
- Develop strategies to improve student retention through financial aid programs
- Coordinate with the admissions office to create financial aid packages for prospective students
- Oversee the verification process for financial aid applications
