Evening Dispatcher / Warehouse Office Associate

Nesco Resource is looking for an Evening Dispatcher / Warehouse Administration Associate for a client in the Scotia, NY area.

This is a temp-to-perm position with a long-standing company. It is an evening hours position from 6 pm to 2 am, Monday thru Friday.

You will report to work on Monday at 6 pm with your workweek ending at 2 am Saturday morning.

Requirements :

• Be able to learn and be proficient in AS400 software
• Check in drivers, process their paperwork, and assign them to the proper doors using AS400 software
• Gain familiarity with the company's yard system to expedite logistics in an efficient manner
• Good computer skills that require long periods behind the screen
• Be attentive when it comes to receiving and sending emails
• Frequent two-way radio communications
• Clear and concise verbal communication
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook preferredCompany willing to train.
• Process Bill of Ladings and print tags to keep things moving
• Attention to detail is a must
• Be able to read spreadsheets
• Communicate with drivers for arranging both pick-ups and drop-offs
• Work well under pressure.

You will be responsible for helping drivers. They will come in and you will be their first point of contact. You will process their paperwork and assign them a door number for pickup / drop-off.

After this is complete, you will again process their paperwork, and have them sign off before sending them on their way.

You'll need to be demonstrative and assertive in a busy and sometimes noisy environment. This a temp-to-perm position. Once hired, the company offers a robust benefits package.

Salary : $23 an hour

Location : On-site. This is not a remote position
