PositionSummary

The ANM coordinates,plans, organizes implements and monitors nursing care of the adult,pediatric and neonatal patient as applicable in accordance withdepartmental philosophy and objectives.

Facilitates communicationand continuity of care for patients, accepting accountability fordaily operations of their respective units when on duty.

Whendelivering patient care 1) provides high quality, safe, costeffective, total nursing care to all patients utilizing the nursingprocess 2) assumes the responsibility for overall coordination andintegration of patient care based on need of the patient and familymembers 3) directs care according to established standards ofsafety, risk management, infection control, with the goal being todischarge the patient with an optimum level of care provided 4)utilized evidence-based practice in accordance with professionalstandards and adheres to the Florida State Nurse Practice Act 5)reviewed orders / test results and documents care deliveredaccurately and timely in the electronic healthrecord.

PositionRequirements / Qualifications : (including requiredlicensure / certifications, education and job knowledge / experience)

EDUCATION

Minimum : Graduate of an RNProgram

Preferred : BSN

EXPERIENCE

Minimum : 1 year nursing experience in unit ofexpertise

Preferred : Management experience preferred

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION / LICENSURE / REGISTRATION :

• Registered Nurse -licensed in the State ofFlorida
• American HeartAssociation PALS, BLS, NRPcertification
