PLEX is seeking a

Computer Network Operations (CNO) Specialized Engineer (I-III) to support cutting edge work in the Annapolis Junction, MD area.

Required Skills

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop innovative, secure network systems. Ensure network systems are maintained and perform optimally in support of ongoing operations.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security weaknesses. Implement solutions and recommendations to address potential security threats.
• Utilize advanced tools to detect, analyze, and respond to network intrusions and cyber threats. Provide real-time monitoring to identify suspicious activities and ensure system integrity.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain network hardware and software, including firewalls, routers, switches, and intrusion detection / prevention systems.
• Respond to network security incidents, troubleshoot performance issues, and provide immediate support to resolve problems.
• Maintain detailed logs and reports of system and network activities, including security incidents and vulnerability assessments.

Communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.

• Work closely with security and IT teams to ensure the development of secure network architectures. Provide input on the design and implementation of security protocols.
• Stay updated on emerging network security trends, tools, and technologies. Participate in training and certifications relevant to CNO.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in computer science, information systems, or network engineering.
• Minimum of four (4) years of programming experience in Assembly, C, C#, C++, Java, Perl, or Python.
• Familiarity with software version control tools (e.g., Subversion, CVS).
• Proficient in software debugging and troubleshooting.
• Capable of creating and delivering technical presentations.
• TS / SCI with polygraph

Salary at Plex Solutions LLC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $80,000.00 to $260,000.00 (annualized USD) .
