Summary : The Clinical Education Training Specialist is responsible in assisting with the planning, development, facilitation and implementation of a variety of educational programs and initiatives to increase and enhance educational learning.
The Clinical Education Training Specialist will participate in new hire orientation as well as ongoing training and in-service as required by federal and state agencies.
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Assists with annual education plans to encompass mandatory in-service’s, new hire orientation, and need-based programs
- Works with Clinical Education Manager and Department Head’s to evaluate educational needs and design programs to meet those needs
- Assists with the procurement of materials needed for teaching
- Assist with the development of curricular for the onsite SNA program
- Participates in Survey audits to prepare and ensure compliance
- Assist with classroom instruction for the onsite SNA program
- Carry out and assist in developing appropriate student behavior through positive reinforcement strategies and techniques
Education & Experience :
- High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
- Registered Nurse License required (minimum of two years)
- One year of experience in long-term care facility
- Two years of experience in education and / or training
- BLS Certification required
