COOK AND PREP COOK
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a several seasonal Cooks and Prep Cooks for the daily railroad company based in Chattanooga, TN.
This non-profit organization offers several daily trips exploring the Chattanooga area. This is a temporary job with several permanent opportunities.
Pay Rate
Cook -$17.00 per hour
Prep Cook- $ 12.00-$13.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Dining car- Friday and Saturday only 12 : 00pm- 10 : 00pm or 11 : 00pm (will be Thursday-Sunday in peak season)
Tea Room- Thursday- Sunday 8 : 30am-3 : 30pm
Cook and Prep Cook Duties and Responsibilities
- Cooks prepare ingredients using various techniques, and check the quality of the ingredients
- Cook food based on designated menu using various culinary techniques.
- Plate the food to ensure it is visually appealing and matches the quality of the dish
- Maintain a sanitized and well-organized kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces
- Prep Cook will assist in all aspects of preparation prior to cooking
Cook and Prep Cook Qualifications and Requirements
- Culinary experience is a PLUS
- Previous experience in food preparation
- Great attendance, customer service experience and attitude
- Black pants, skirt or dress (knee length), black shirt, closed toe shoes
- Background check
