Datacenter Technician

We are seeking an experienced Lab Technician, Hardware who will play a key role in supporting datacenter power systems through hands-on lab work and technical collaboration.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and testing of cutting-edge hardware systems that power Azure Cloud.

Responsibilities :

• Execute tests on data center compute and power hardware.
• Assemble, modify, and optimize equipment to meet project-specific requirements.
• Build, test, and modify product prototypes using working or theoretical models, often constructed through computer simulation.
• Monitor equipment functionality, making necessary modifications to ensure compliance with system specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to evaluate hardware-software interfaces and system performance requirements.
• Provide training and support to system designers and users.

Qualifications :

• Experience : 5-7 years of experience as a Lab Technician, with a focus on hardware and data center systems.
• Proficiency in using lab equipment, including oscilloscopes, DMMs, DC loads, AC sources, logic probes, power analyzers, and serial analyzers (e.g., Aardvark, Beagle).
• Experience debugging power systems, embedded systems, hardware, and firmware.
• Familiarity with serial communication protocols such as I2C, UART, and SPI.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Team player with attention to detail.
• Basic mentoring skills to support peers and offer constructive feedback.

Top Skills Required :

• 5-7 years of Lab Technician experience .
• 5-7 years of experience with hardware and data center environments .
• 5-7 years of experience assembling and soldering hardware components .
