Job Description
The Utah State Hospital is seeking full-time employees to prepare and serve food for both patients and employees at the beautiful Utah State Hospital campus.
The ideal candidate
At minimum , the Food Service Worker II will :
- have a food handlers permit or Servsafe certificate
- have experience cooking in an institutional environment
- have experience preparing and setting up for catered events
- be able to routinely lift 50 pounds
- be able to cheerfully adapt to unforeseen changes, such as staffing needs and menu adaptations
- may help in maintaining food storage areas
The Best Qualified Applicant
The ideal candidate for this position will have a few years of experience in the food service industry with demonstrated career growth history.
We are looking for someone who will be a positive addition to the team, willing and capable of the work required to prepare and serve over 1200 daily meals to our patients and staff.
