The team

As a part of Product Engineering Services practice, we are looking for a talented UI / UX Designer to join us to contribute to practice initiatives and keep current in the latest technology developments in the Cloud and Product Engineering space.

The role

• Help define product requirements by engaging with users and the business.
• Conduct various forms of user research, including user interviews and concept testing.
• Design, test, and iterate to create intuitive and scalable user experiences.
• Ensure the UX / UI design meets the requirements for Section 508 / American Disability Act.
• Be able to work within an existing design system.
• Work with developers to implement designs - creating production-ready digital assets (PNG) and source code artifacts such as HTML / CSS.
• Participate in regular design critiques.
• Proficient in Adobe or Figma.
• Experience collaborating with engineering teams using Atlassian products including JIRA and Confluence.
• Knowledge of JavaScript and component-based UI design and the micro-site / composite-UI architecture is a plus.

What you'll bring

10+ years of experience in UX Design, User Research, and Product requirements. Experience in Adobe Figma, JIRA, Confluence.

Salary Information

As required by the equal pay and transparency acts, the expected base salary for this position is : $130k-$140k base + bonus.

The expected pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area.

Employees are eligible to participate in Hitachi Digital Services bonus / variable / commission pay programs, where applicable, and are subject to the program's conditions and restrictions.
