The Shift Supervisor oversees the Sheet Metal, Paint Line, and Parts Department operations to ensure quality, safety, and productivity, aligning with company and customer standards.
This role has 15-20 direct reports.
Key Responsibilities :
Quality & Compliance : Ensure adherence to company policies and ISO QMS standards. Maintain safety, cleanliness, and training documentation.
Resolve CPDs and uphold safety protocols.
Continuous Improvement : Drive ongoing improvements in processes, cost efficiency, and cross-training. Stay updated on new technologies and equipment.
Lead team training and improvement initiatives.
Leadership : Mentor team members, promote collaboration, and support personal growth. Manage attendance, timecards, and shift schedules.
Provide performance feedback and conduct reviews.
Customer Service : Provide timely support for production needs. Collaborate with other supervisors to coordinate activities.
Manage staff assignments, training, and hiring as needed. Improve efficiency and ensure tasks meet company standards.
Requirements :
- 1-5 years of supervisory experience within a manufacturing setting - relevant sheet metal, paint line, and / or parts experience would be a bonus!
- Experience leading others over multiple shifts preferred. (1st and 2nd)
- Lean manufacturing, 5S, fishbone diagram, Six Sigma training would be beneficial
- Strong communication, people, and leadership skills
- Awareness of and willingness to follow / implement Lean Manufacturing practices
- Ability to effectively resolve problems with both people and processes

- Pay range : $60-70K + 10% annual discretionary bonus
- Schedule : 9 : 00 am - 5 : 30 pm Monday - Thursday and 7 : 00am - 3 : 00 pm Friday
