About the Role : We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Manager Clerk to join our team at FBS Fortified And Ballistic Security in Coral Springs, FL.
This role is crucial to ensuring our products are shipped efficiently and accurately to our clients.
Responsibilities :
- Manage and oversee the shipping and receiving process.
- Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries, including working with UPS and FedEx.
- Inspect and verify incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Build and pack crates effectively, handling both steel and glass materials with precision.
- Operate a forklift to move and organize shipments within the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipments and inventory, including tracking information and shipping costs.
- Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with the production and customer service teams to address any shipping-related issues.
Requirements :
- Previous experience in shipping and logistics.
- Forklift certification is required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with shipping software and systems.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in crate building and packing, with the ability to properly crate various types of products, including steel and glass.
- Strong knowledge of shipping procedures and regulations, including working with UPS and FedEx.
